Frequently Asked Questions, Guidelines, Rules and Regulations

Planning your trip to our beach camp in La Union and have some questions? We’ve compiled a list of the most commonly asked questions and the resort’s rules and regulations to help you prepare for an unforgettable beach experience. At Beach Camp by LOC, we’re dedicated to ensuring that your stay is as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Note that the management reserves the right to amend and supplement the above rules and regulations at any times without prior notice.

Cooking, Foods, and Utensils

Can we bring foods to be cooked there?

Yes, definitely you can bring your own foods! We also have a cooking area, a stove that you can rent for Php200.00 only. It is better to bring your own pots and cooking utensils and pans since we only have limited pots, pans, and cooking utensils.

Corkage for Liquors and Foods?

Only Liquors have corkage. Php100.00 for every liter/bottle of hard liquor. 

Php300.00 for every 1 case of beer.

Are there common kitchen and grilling area?

Yes, the common kitchen and grilling area are free to use. You can rent a stove for a minimum fee of Php200.00 (for the LPG usage). However we recommend that you bring your own cooking utensils and pots and pans since ours are limited.

Can we bring in foods from the outside?

Yes, you can bring your own foods.

Can I cook inside or near the rooms and kubos?

Strictly NO cooking inside/near the rooms and kubos. There is a designated Common Kitchen provided for your cooking. 

What are the price of using cooking appliances and stove?

When you plan to use the stove at the our common kitchen there will be a minimum charge of Php200 for  the use of gasul/LPG. 

There will also be an electrical charge of Php200 if you plan to use any electric stove, rice cooker or electric kettles.

Do you have cooking and eating utensils ready to be used?

Please bring your own kitchen and cooking utensils (pot and pans,plates,knife, etc.) if you intend to cook or eat your own food at the camp since no utensils are provided at the camp.

We also sell paper plates, plastic cups and spoons on our mini store for their eating utensils.

Noise, Gates, Videoke, and Curfew

Loud Noises Curfew

In consideration to others, please refrain from making loud noises during sleeping time 10pm.

Time limit and rent in using videoke?

The use of videoke is until 10pm only.

Rent of videoke is Php500.00 per day.

Bonfire time?

Bonfire is allowed until 10pm only.

Night swimming?

Night swimming on the beach is NOT ALLOWED as advised by the Coast Guards patrolling all of La Union beaches.

However, we have a swimming pool for night swimming.

Curfew time and gate closing?

For your security, the beachfront gates will close at 10pm.

All guests are required to be inside the camp’s compound by 10pm.

The management will not be responsible for any untoward incident that befalls a person who went out of the compound after 10pm.

Experiences

Do you have a list of the experiences?

Do you have WiFi connectivity?

Yes, our resort is wifi connected.

Is the phone signal (network) strong in the resort?

Yes, phone signals are strong.

Are there lots of people in the resort or beachfront?

To be honest, it really depends on the season. But the beach camp itself is somewhat secluded than the community and other resorts which gives a more "private resort" vibe.

How far is the resort from the beach?

The resort is literally located at the beachfront, so just a few meters of walk to swim.

Tents and Hammocks

Are tents and hammocks allowed?

Tents and hammocks are allowed as long as you have booked a room and no other rooms are available to accommodate your excess pax with an overnight entrance fee of php300/pax.

Do you have tents and hammocks that we can rent or use?

Since we are promoting camping by the use of our A-type kubos, you have to bring your own tents and hammocks.

Accomodations

Room accomodation check-in and check-out time?

For room accommodation,  check-in time: 2pm Check-out time: 12noon the following day.

(whole rates applies regardless of whether  late check-in or early check-out)

Children overnight accomodation?

For overnight guest, Children 3ft and above regardless if they are children or not, are counted in the number of pax   with no exceptions. While Children 3ft and below will be charged 100/overnight as their entrance fee only (with no extra mattresses or beddings included)

Groups with 16 guests and above?

Groups containing 16 guests and above are required to avail of our overnight group packages or the customized packages offered by our booking assistant.

Room accomodation extensions and room capacity?

Please honestly declare your group count before booking to avoid inconveniences. Only ONE additional pax  in excess of the max. comfortable capacity is allowed for each room:    Kubo room will be charged for php300/person and for Aircon room will be charged for php400/person as their overnight entrance fee. Please note that the overnight entrance fee of the extra pax does not include any extra mattress and beddings or tents that is why we strongly recommend you to avail one/two rooms if your extra pax is more than three(3) in a group. Management will not be liable for any inconveniences that occurs. because of undeclared pax.

Extension is allowed as long as there are no guest booked next on the same room.

Extension rate for Fan rooms: php100/hr

Airconditioned rooms: php180/hr

Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes, but since we have limited number of rooms and cottages and the high possibility of us being fully booked,  It is  better that you reserve, book or message us before coming, for us to guarantee that you can be surely accommodated once you arrived. Firearms, Smoking/Vaping, and Prohibited Drugs

Are firearms and prohibited drugs allowed?

Firearms/deadly weapons and prohibited drugs are not allowed within the camp’s premises

Is smoking or vaping allowed?

Smoking inside the rooms/kubos are strictly prohibited.

Please smoke on designated open areas only.

Vehicles and Parking

Is the parking free?

Yes, parking your vehicle is free of charge.

Vehicle theft, fire, or damage?

Always lock your vehicle and leave in the designated parking area. Even though we have security measures, the management is not responsible for any theft, fire or damage to your vehicle or its contents.

Minors

Accompanying minors...

Minors should be accompanied and supervised by adults/or their guardians at all times. Management is not responsible for any untoward incidents that happens to unsupervised children.

Swimming and Swimming Pool

Swimming rules and regulations...

Don’t go to deep water if you don’t know how to swim.

Please follow the lifeguard advise, swim on designated areas only.

Don’t leave your children unattended while swimming and Never swim alone.

Night swimming (beach) is NOT ALLOWED (CABA COAST GUARD RULES).

But swimming in our SWIMMING POOL is allowed till 9:00pm.

Lifeguard’s duty is from 8am-5pm only.

Note that the management will not be responsible for any untoward incident that befalls a person not following our swimming rules and those who are swimming beyond 5pm till 8am the following day. 

Swimming and Liquor

Any person under the influence of liquor is prohibited to swim.

Swimming Pool depth (gaano kalalim)?

Pool depth is 4ft-5ft if water full.  

What are the swimming pool hours?

The swimming pool hours is from 8am to 9pm for in-house guests and 8am-6pm for day tours.

Pool night swimming after 9pm is not allowed.

The use of Swimming pool for overnight beach camp guests with pool access will be from 2pm to 9pm only on the check-in date and 8am to 12pm on the check-out date.

Closing the pool in cases of uncontrolled circumstances...

The beach camp reserves the right to close the pool in cases of uncontrolled circumstances that involves the pool being unswimmable.

Proper swimming attire...

Proper swimming attire is required while in the pool. Wools, cotton fabrics and maong (jeans) are not allowed.

Pool access for outside guests with no accomodation...

Outside guests are required to avail shades/tables according to their head counts.

Rules for babies, toddlers, and infants who wants to use the pool.

Toddlers, Infants and babies without proper waterproof diaper are not allowed in the pool and slides.

Shower first and pass the water steps.

No person shall enter without showering first. Enter the pool by passing through the water steps.

On observing proper behavior...

Pool users are expected to observe proper behavior at all times and not indulge in any diving and rough playing activities.

The pool attendance primary task is to ensure the safety of the swimmers at all times.

He is empowered to force the rules relating to the use of the pool and the right to request any person to leave the pool if it breaches any rules by the management.

What items are not allowed in the pool?

Glass containers and breakable objects shall not be brought to the pool area.

Foods and Drinks are not allowed inside the pool area.

Spitting and loitering are not allowed. No chewing of “moma” inside the pool premises

About injuries, loss, and damages...

Proper caution must be taken as the pool can be slippery at times.

The management shall not be responsible for any injury, loss, damage sustained while using the pools or the facilities.

About diseases and ailments...

The management has the right to refuse entry to the pool suffering from skin diseases, cough, colds, or other transmittable diseases or who may be under the influence of liquor and drugs.

Payment first before entrance.

All swimming pool payments must be settled at the receptions before using the facility.

Cleanliness, Conservation, and Security

Trash and Segregation

We work hard in keeping the camp clean, kindly do your part by throwing and segregating all your trash in designated trash bins.

Water Convervation

In doing our part to help mother earth, please conserve water. Turn off water faucets/showers when not in use. Refrain children from playing with water.

Registration and Admission

For safety and security reasons, all guests are advised to register.

The management reserves the right to refuse admission.

The resort has the right to deny admission or evict guest or group of guest found under the influence of drugs, generally disturbing the peace and order at the camp and /or engaging in fights.

In Case of Fire or Emergency

In case of fire and emergency, please inform our office and staff immediately.

Do you have Wheel Chair ramps?

Yes, the beach resort is wheel chair friendly.

Open Kubos and Gazebos

What are the day tour time and extension?

For open cottages (open kubos and gazebo) day tour is from 8am to 5pm only.

Extension time for after 5pm is php100/hr, maximum of 5hrs only

Additional guests above the kubo or gazebo capacity?

Only FIVE (5) Additional person in excess of the recommended pax is allowed per open kubo and will be charged at: Php100/person  for guest 3ft and above and Php80/person for guest 3ft and below as their entrance fee. If you have more than 5 additional pax you are required to avail of an additional open cottage good for 6.

Open Kubo and Gazebo overnight use and rates?

Overnight use for sleeping at our open cottages is not allowed. It is only allowed if you have booked a room with us and/or no other rooms are available to accommodate your excess pax.

Overnight allowable pax for the : open gazebo is 10 pax maximum and open kubo is 4 pax maximum.

Note that: Overnight rates applies on open cottages with guest that has room accommodation only.

Overnight rates   from 7pm to 7am for the :

Open gazebo is php5,000

open kubo is php2,000

 

Reservation, Cancellation, and Refunds

Refunds on cancellation?

There will be no refunds for any cancellations. Rebooking is only allowed 7 days before your booked date.

All room accommodation payments must be settled at the reception upon check in.

 

No show or late on the scheduled reservation?

In the event that the guests does not show up on the day of their booking or guests not informing us of their late check-in:

2 to 3hrs after 2pm, will be considered a “No-show” therefore, their reservation will be cancelled and their downpayment be forfeited and cannot be refunded.

If the guest informed us, and their time of arrival will be from 6pm to 10pm they are required to pay through Gcash the full amount of their booked accommodation  for their booking not to be cancelled and to secure their room even if they arrive before 10pm.

No payment before 6pm even if they informed us will be considered a “No-show”.

Please note that we do not accept late check-ins from 10pm onwards.

Cancellation on the reserved check-in date...

Any cancellation received on your check-in date will incur a charge of 100% of the room rate reserved.

Payment made upon check-in will be forfeited in cases of cancellation and will not be refunded.
